Pathways 2024

Students start GCSE courses in Year 10 following the selection of subjects at the end of Year 9. 

Students will select subjects from three blocks, included within this must be a mandatory option of History or Geography. Students can do both subjects if preferred. 

Students are not restricted in which subjects they study however; leaders are involved in supporting families to make selections. Every student is interviewed by the Principal to discuss these selections. 

The majority of students will study French and subsequently work towards the EBacc. 

Students must complete their options online through parents' My Child At School login on the website.

Monday 26th February - Pathways Evening - Parents and students can talk to subject teachers.

Monday 15th April - Year 9 Parents Evening.

Monday 22nd April - Deadline for Pathways selections to be submitted via My Child At School

Monday 13th May - Interviews to take place with students after this date to discuss Pathways selections.

Monday 3rd June - Shortly after the half-term break, letters will be sent home to parents confirming subjects.
