The 2024/25 admission to secondary school application round opened on Monday 11th September 2023. Applications can be made online from this date: Enrol: Online School Admissions Website.
The application round closed on Tuesday 31st October 2023. Late applications can still be made after this date by completing an application form.
If your child is in their last year at a primary or junior school, you must apply for a place in Year 7 at a secondary school.
Decisions
If you apply online, you will be able to sign in to your account and see the decisions during the day on 1 March 2024. If you post an application form, you will be sent a letter on 1 March 2024 by second class post telling you the decision.

- Appeals closing date - 22nd March 2024
- Mini admission round to consider changes - 3rd April 2024

- Waiting lists maintained for oversubscribed schools until 31st December 2024
